Chrysoprase Specimen, AUSTRALIAN Chrysoprase - Number 5 or Number 6

£20.00

Rough Natural Chrysoprase Specimens - High quality Australian

These are natural untreated pieces sourced from Australia, which is now a rare place to mine Chrysoprase due to the sporadic and costly mining process. Brazilian Chrysoprase is far more common these days as it is cheaper to mine. So this batch is a small rare batch from Australia, which may never be seen again from this location. The price reflects the rarity.

Because Chrysoprase has a small amount of water, dehydration can damage the stone. To prevent Chrysoprase dehydration, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, dry heat, and intense light sources.
Store chrysoprase in a dark, slightly humid environment if possible. If not, you can keep the gem in a fabric bag separate from other gems.
